Love One Another Campaign, through its PR’s office held an Agape Club Training for pupils of the Government Rokel Secondary School, Freetown—-28th September, 2026.
The purpose of the training is to teach, strengthen and nurture the attitude of Love, Peaceful Coexistence, Forgiveness, unity and development into these minds, in order to empower them with the required knowledge of becoming a good and productive citizen in our country, Sierra Leone.
The training looked at one key question, which is: “Why Should We Love?”In answering the above question, there are two major reasons why we should Love: 1:Spiritual Reasons 2: Social Reasons
*-Spiritual Reasons*We should Love because God has instructed us to love one another and He is expecting us to fulfill that command, every where, and for everyone, in every part of the world. Love is a command in all religions and for every human being. Therefore, you are obligated to love.
*-Social Reasons:* Under the social reasons, for our societies to thrive, develop and improve we have no option but to demonstrate love to one another.The social reasons state that where there is love, there is: Sustainable Peace, there is Security, Development, Progress, Non-violence, lack of hate, healthy economy, respect for human dignity and more so there will be Unity; ‘And I believe we all know the common, but very important adage which says, “Unity is Strength”
The training also created an opportunity for the pupils to ask questions, add their own contributions and make suggestions. I believe this is the start to a transformed Nation. I personally believe and I’m convinced that these pupils have a brighter destiny to fulfill. And my job is simple, “it is to help them fulfill it”Come and join me, let’s give our support to the Love One Another Campaign into seeing this vision become achieved unto its fullest potential.
